Duties vary depending on the company and the particular retails sector, but will typically include:-
Preparing pre-shipment and post-shipments documents.
Co-ordination with CHA and transporters for export clearance.
Maintain a direct relationship with the Bank pertaining to all export procedures and documentation.
Co-ordination with foreign buyers for giving approval of import documents and shipments schedule.
Co-ordination with CHA and transporters for import custom clearance.
Logistic handling excise work.
Planning product ranges and preparing sales and stock plans in conjunction with buyers.
Be in regular coordination with buyers and store staff.
Managing a comprehensive record of appropriate data.
Working closely with sales staff and department’s heads to decide how goods should be displayed to maximize company sales.
Using specialist software to handle sales statistics, produce sales projection and spread sheet and graphs of sales for better comparative analysis.
Gathering client feedback.
Making financial presentation for senior level
TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED:-
Strong analytical and numerical skills to work and budget and understand sales figures.
The ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment & to quickly identify problem and recommend solutions.
Sound decision making skills and ability to plan.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Analyzing past sales figure/trends to anticipate future sales needs.
EDUCATION QUALIFICATION:-Person must be graduate or post graduate in foreign trade with experience of 3-4yrs in the same field.
