Position Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Should be able to calculate quantities & prepare estimates /BOQ of the projects from drawings as per specification, rate Analysis, and billing & certification.
Checking plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations.
Ensuring that all materials used and work performed are as per specifications;
Overseeing the selection and requisition of materials.
Managing, monitoring and interpreting the contract design documents supplied by the client.
Liaising with consultants, Client Engineer in Charge, DMIC, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, and the general workforce involved in the project in alignment with Quality Control Manager for quantity & quality certification, uploading quantity in MB & its certificate.
Liaising with the local authority (where appropriate to the project) to ensure compliance with local construction regulations and by-laws.
Preparing reports as required.
Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
Bachelors in Civil Engineering having 3-5 years experience, knowledge of overall execution of Road project. Knowledge of AUTOCAD, Total Station and SOIL software is must.
